Michael Jordan Wallpapers
For those of you looking for some classic MJ desktop wallpapers, check out my man over at bestplayerontheplanet.com.  For some awful reason, he’s a Kobe fan, but I won’t judge him too hard.

He hasn’t played a game of professional basketball in a couple years shy of a decade, yet still, there isn’t a single facet of hoops that isn’t in some way tied to ‘His Airness’.  From shoes, to jerseys, to posters, to Michael Jordan wallpaper, the man embodies the definition of lasting power.  The two active players who’re featured prominently on this site, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant, don’t yet even compare to the milestones and accolades that MJ accomplished during his 14 year tear in the NBA (not even mentioning his damage at Chapel Hill).

The man has a championship ring to put on every other finger, all of which he earned single-handedly…well not really…the Bulls were pretty slick, but Jordan walked away with the coveted Finals MVP title every time Chicago made an appearance.  He’s a champion in every imaginable earthly meaning of the word.  A six time NBA finals champion, two time Olympic gold medal winner, NCAA championship winner, three time All Star MVP, five time league MVP, defensive player of the year, career scoring PPG record holder, ESPY Athlete of the Century…he even took the dunk contest two years in a row (back in the good old days when superstars entered – can you imagine if Lebron, Kobe and Carter all showed up at once?).

Retiring three different times (once to pursue a freakin’ baseball career), Jordan holds a slew of incredible age-related records as well, including the first 40 year old in league history to score more than 40 points (43).  If you ask me, Jordan could come back and still be a decent ball player in today’s game…of course he’d get stomped by Lebron…yeh, I said it…that’s retribution for that shot over Ehlo in 89′!

He’s accomplished more in the game of basketball than any other athlete ever has, and probably ever will.  Whether you love him or think he’s a jerk with a gambling problem, you have to at least respect what he’s done for the game.  The man has left a legacy so thick that even teams who he never played for retired his number (look it up).  Stars like Lebron James and Kobe Bryant have, and should have, nothing but supreme respect for the man and the path he paved.  So slap some of this Michael Jordan wallpaper on your desktop, or a poster on your wall, and show some respect too!

  1. We all know how good Lebron is, but how well will he gel with Wade and Bosh if they end up on the same team?

  2. He was discovered by his female whore, named Roflette, pickled in a 55 Metre Squared Rofl-Cake that was approximatly 2 metres high, this was during the Strongbow World Records (SWR) where Rofl was attempting to make the biggest Rofl cake in the world, not surprisingly, Roflette got the prize for constructing the Rofl Cake, and Roflette got the position of Rofl Queen in the House Of Rofl, but later got over run, by the more famous German man, Adölf Lòl, from the 6th Generation of his Great great great great great great Grandfather Ben Lòleth, who created the Lol Train
